Nice. As usual, I love how you use both pages, and the "air" around the sketches. Looks like you took advantage of our little heat spell there too.

I'm curious what kind of pencils you prefer to draw with. When I use a soft lead, it smears like crazy. These pages are amazing no matter how many times I look at them.

Thanks Gerald. I often keep a pocket full of pencils. The ones I go for the most are HB, 2B, and 2H, although I'll use whatever seems to work - lately a well worn yellow no, 2. I may switch out pencils several times throughout a drawing. Some of the cleaner lines are done with a mechanical .05 HB. The swath of shadow across the sleeping guy was made by sharpening a pencil over the page so the graphite dust fell where I wanted, and then rubbing it in with my finger.

Also, I use a kneaded eraser to clean up my smudges.
